Amber Grants for Women-Owned Businesses

The Amber Grant, offered by WomensNet, provides monthly funding opportunities for women-owned businesses in the United States and Canada. Each month, WomensNet awards three $10,000 grants: the Monthly Amber Grant, the Monthly Startup Grant, and a Business Category Grant. Monthly winners may also become eligible for one of three $50,000 year-end grants.

Who Should Apply:
This opportunity is designed for women entrepreneurs who own at least 50% of a business based in the United States or Canada. Eligible applicants may include women with established businesses, startups, idea-stage ventures, and certain revenue-generating nonprofit organizations.

Eligibility Highlights:
Applicants must be women age 18 or older and own at least 50% of the business. Businesses may be in the idea stage, pre-revenue, or already generating revenue. Nonprofits may be eligible if they are revenue-generating, but nonprofits whose main activity is charitable giving are not eligible.

Application Details:
Applicants complete one online application to be considered for eligible WomensNet grants. The monthly application period runs from the first day of the month through 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the last day of the month. Winners are typically announced the following month.
