Her Next Chapter Grant (Portland, OR)
Shiekh Studio is a community initiative by Shiekh Shoes that supports local businesses and entrepreneurs. We offer a free space within Washington Square Mall, equipped with chairs and tables to ensure equity and accessibility, aiming to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses at no cost. To continue giving back to our community, we launched the Her Next Chapter Grant.
Overview
In honor of Women’s History Month and to celebrate local women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs in the Portland Metro Area, Shiekh Studio is awarding three cash grants to selected winners: first place receives $2,500, second place receives $1,500, and third place receives $1,000.
Who it’s for:
Women entrepreneurs in the Portland Metropolitan Area who are actively pursuing or growing a business.
Process
Submit your application by March 15, 2026.
Prepare all required materials and ensure your submission is complete before the deadline.
If you are selected as a finalist, you will receive an invitation to a networking event.
At this event, you will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers, hear from successful women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs, have professional headshots taken, and enjoy refreshments.
Eligibility
Must be female
Must be 18 or older
Must live in the Portland Metro Area
Must be an entrepreneur, artist, or have a viable business idea
Must follow @Shiekhstudio prior to the application review (strongly recommended to follow before submitting)
