HerRise MicroGrant for Women Entrepreneurs
The HerRise MicroGrant, offered by HerSuiteSpot and the Yva Jourdan Foundation, provides a $1,000 monthly grant to support under-resourced women entrepreneurs, including women of color, who are building small businesses with community impact. The grant can help cover business needs such as equipment, technology, marketing materials, software, website updates, and other growth-related expenses.
Who Should Apply:
This opportunity is designed for women entrepreneurs who need non-equity funding to grow or strengthen their businesses. It may be a good fit for founders who are building community-focused businesses and need support with practical expenses that can help them move to the next stage.
Eligibility Highlights:
Applicants must have a business that is at least 51% women-owned, currently registered in the United States, and has less than $1 million in gross revenue. The HerRise application page notes that nonprofits, franchises, direct sellers, authorized resellers, and independent consultants are not eligible.
Application Details:
Applications are accepted monthly. To be considered for the current month, applicants should apply by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the last day of the month. Winners are announced during the following month’s HerSuiteSpot First Friday Mixer, and applicants do not need to be present to be selected.
